Faculty of Automotive Skills

The B.Voc in Automotive Skills is an industry-integrated program modeled on the Swiss Dual System of Vocational Education. It prepares specialists in two key areas:

The program is offered by the Faculty of Automotive Skills in collaboration with the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), a national body representing over 15,000 dealerships. FADA supports student internships and placements.

The courses offered by Faculty of Automotive Skills are conducted in collaboration with TATA Motors Passenger Vehicle Ltd and the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), an apex body of more than 15,000 automotive dealerships across India that is committed to support the internship and placement of the students.

Meet Ankush Sharma – a dedicated professional in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering with growing expertise in Electronics and Mechatronics. Holding a B.Tech from JECRC University, Jaipur, he began his career with an internship at Baba Automobiles, gaining hands-on experience across two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and EVs.

With over 4 years of experience as an Automotive Skill Trainer – II, Ankush specializes in automotive electronics, electrical systems, mechatronics, and diagnostics. He is proficient in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, electronic sensors, and automotive circuits, bridging the gap between traditional mechanical engineering and emerging electronic systems.

Committed to continuous learning, Ankush actively explores futuristic technologies shaping mobility and automation. Beyond work, he finds inspiration in reading, music, and cooking.

Dr. Sunil Anand

Dean, Professor

Sunil Anand is Professor and Dean in the Faculty of Automotive Skills Education, BSDU since April 2022. Before joining BSDU, he has worked with top universities including Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, and SRHU Dehradun having total 11.5 years of experience in academic domain.

Apart from this he has also worked with various Automobile service industry for more than 15 years and during this undergone various trainings including Maruti Udyog Ltd, Ashok Leyland Etc.
